Plunging on cold north ice
Artic yesterday is remembered
Bitter taste on my mouth,
Stiffening my tongue
Revive the embers inside me
Warm the icy feelings beneath
Melt the stiffness of my lips
Replace it with hot embrace
Though depression tries to settle in
Remove this dark cloud entering
The stark truth of love and pain blends
Yet, hope springs forth
